Dutch Oven Cook-Off North Hollywood Stake Center 03/12/2011 | This was the 4th Annual North Hollywood Stake Dutch Oven Cook-Off. All the other troops were out gunning for us given our success the last three years, so we really want to thank Bro. Wray for once again helping us prepare for this activity. This year the troop won first place in the bread category. |

Dutch Oven Cook-Off North Hollywood Stake Center 03/13/2010 | This was the 3rd Annual North Hollywood Stake Dutch Oven Cook-Off. As usual, Bro. Wray had the scouts working hard to complete their bread, main entree and dessert within the time requirements. Everyone's efforts paid off as the troop won first place for overall, main entree and dessert. |

Dutch Oven Cook-Off North Hollywood Stake Center 03/15/2008 | This was the 1st Annual North Hollywood Stake Dutch Oven Cook-Off. All six troops participated by entering an appetizer, bread, main entree and dessert. Our troop entered Stuffed Jalapenos, Cinnamon Rolls, Chile Verde and Cherry Chocholate Lava Cake. After the judging, everyone (troops, family and anyone else from the wards) was invited into the Cultural Hall for dinner and dessert. |

Eagle Scout Court of Honor Sylmar Ward Building 10/15/2006 | This was the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Wesley Matthews, Stephen VanCamp and Tim Wray. The Court of Honor was held in the Chapel and included a video presentation of the boys. After the Court of Honor, refreshments were served in the Cultural Hall and guests could view the Eagle Scout displays of each of the boys. |

Tim's Eagle Scout Service Project Placerita Canyon Nature Center 03/25/2006 | After our campout at Walker Ranch, the troop (along with members of the Ward) helped Tim with his Eagle Scout Service Project to add an additional row of benches to the Placerita Canyon Nature Center. The project was well managed, and with all the help (approx. 37 people), we were able to complete the project in about 4 hours. |

Special Olympics Service Project VA Facility, North Hills, California 03/04/2006 | We participated with the Young Men and Young Women of the North Hollywood Stake to help the athletes train for their upcoming competition. Because of the recent rains, the event was moved from Grant H.S. to the VA Facility in North Hills. The events were also changed from track and field to basketball. |

Fundraiser Dinner Sylmar Ward Building 10/23/2004 | This was a fundraising dinner that the scouts and leaders put on to raise money for troop activities. We bought the chickens from Sam's Club and provided everyone with a plate of food served by the scouts. This was a very successful dinner and fundraiser |

Eagle Scout Court of Honor Sylmar Ward Building 10/10/2004 | Daniel Harty's Eagle Court of Honor was held on a Sunday evening in the Chapel of the Sylmar Ward building. After the Court of Honor, refreshments were served in the Cultural Hall. Also in the Cultural Hall were many displays of Daniel's accomplishments. |

Catalina Island Avalon, California 09/25/2004 | Going to Catalina Island was a fun day trip for the scouts and leaders. We left on the first shuttle from San Pedro and went home on the last shuttle. Once we arrived at the island, the scouts (and leaders) broke up into smaller groups for doing activities (some went fishing, some went swimming, etc.) |
